2012....the new beginning!!!

Happy new year 2012 to all!!! It has been really long time that I did not update my blog. I hope to reactivate it to share about my life, views, opinions, etc....

I am currently working in Brunei. I resigned as Senior Auditor in BDO after more than 3 years. It had been a big decision and last minute decision.

I hope to work here at least for a year for my saving snd spend more time with family. However, I still hope got chance to work in Singapore or Malaysia in the future.

Bali Trip 2011

I have just returned back from a 4 days 3 night trip to Bali from 23 to 26 April. Overall, it was enjoyable trip although the weather there was hot and it was tiring as we needed to sit in the van for most of the times due to jam and distance of spots we chose.

ACCA Member

Finally, I am officially an ACCA member after passing my P6 paper and gaining 3 years of audit experience. Hence, I have achieved my first 2 resolutions of year 2011. Hope that my other resolutions could be achieved soon during the year.

My 2nd convo which is ACCA convo will be held on 9 April 2011 (Saturday) at Sunway Convention Centre. To all my friends, just come to take some photos with me if you free. I should come out around 1pm.

For my future, I have plan to work in Singapore but that would be after 1st half of the year. I will see how as need to do a lot of planning.

Resolutions for year 2011

My resolutions for year 2011:

1. I wish to complete my ACCA successfully. (Results for P6 will be released in February 2011)

2. I wish to gain another year of audit experience so that I would be able to be MIA and ACCA member by March 2011.

3. I also hope that I can be promoted to Assistant Manager by end of 2011 if I still work in BDO.

4. I wish to keep fit and loss my weigh to 70kg by end of 2011. (Currently 79kg)

5. I wish to be able to successfully take leave to visit Bali in April 2011 and Taiwan In February 2011.

6. I wish to be able to do eye laser successfully after passing ACCA!!!

7. I wish to successfully run for 21km in March (Bareno Run) and April (Energizer Run), so that I can ultimately run for 42km, a full marathon by end of 2011.

Review of resolutions for year 2010

These were my resolutions for 2010 and a review of them:

1. I wish to complete my ACCA successfully (Passed my P7 when results released in February and P6 in June 2010 sitting)!!! (I have passed my P7 but failed P6 and now is waiting for the results in 2011)

2. I wish to gain another year of audit experience so that I would be able to be MIA and ACCA member by 2011!!! (I have gained another year of audit experiences and next year will be completion of 3rd year of audit experiences.)

3. I wish to keep fit and loss my weigh to 70kg by end of 2010 (currently 85++kg). (I have failed to achieve it and only manage to reduce to 82kg. Will work harder in gym during 2011)

4. I wish to be able to successfully take leave to visit Bangkok in March 2010 and Macau + Hong Kong in October 2010!!! (I have successfully went to these two countries for vacation.)

5. I wish to be able to do eye laser successfully!!! (I have not done it as I have yet to pass my ACCA and not enough savings. Hope will be able to do it within these two years)

I will update my resolutions for year 2011 soon and really hope able to achieve most if them!!!

I have started to join a number of runs this year. I have joined Olympic Day Run, Mizuno Wave Run, Nike Run, Admiral Methodist Run and CICM Responsible Care Run. All the runs ranged from 5-10km.

My target for next year will be to join half marathon and I have registered Bareno Run for "21km" category which will be held in March 2011. I really hope that I will able to make it to the top 600 for the medal. I will train up myself in gym this few months. Furthermore, I also wish to join KL Standard Chartered Run and ultimately Penang Marathon which will be held in November next year.

It is good and quite enjoyable during runs/marathon as we are able to run on the main roads, sight seeing and of course most importantly is to keep fit!!! Let's run together...

I have finished ACCA exam last Monday and now just waiting for the results!!! I really hope that I am able to pass this round and graduated successfully.

Tomorrow I will be back to work after two weeks study leave and it will be another busy and peak period for audit. 2010 will be coming to an end soon and I will update my resolutions for 2011 soon.

In Brunei now...

I have been in Brunei for study trip since last Sunday afternoon. I will ba back to Miri this Saturday and go Kuching for few days holiday before going to KL.

My study progress was quite reaonable but still need to speed to cover as much of the syllabus as possible so that next week I could focus on doing and analysing the past year question of P6.

Yesterday, I went to a Japanese and Korean mix restaurant called "Pines Restaurant" at Gadong for ex-schoolmates gathering. After that, we went to meet with other friends who only finished work after 10pm at a cafe called "Twelve" at Kiulap. Our gathering ended up eating Nasi Kotok at Sengkurong until 1.30am. This was my first time going for so many rounds of gathering in Brunei in one night. It is always nice to meet up old friends talking about our previous school life, our current work and future plan.

Last Sunday night, I also went to Jerudong Park with my family for a short trip bringing my 3 years old cute niece along. It was enjoyable as we played bumper car today. It was such a long time since I last played this game.

Tonight I will treat my family for a dinner to celebrate both Mother's day and Father's day. I just hope we could enjoy the dinner as much as we can as I am going back soon for work and my little brother will also go back UTAR Kampar for second semester. The next time we will come back probably is during Chinese New Year which will be on 3rd and 4th February.

It has been more than one month since last post. I would not give up in blogging and will always try my best to constantly update instead of abandoning my blog.

Recently, I was really busy with work as I got few jobs on hand and have to report to different managers and bosses. However, it is a good chance for me to learn how to arrange and allocate my time properly. Hence, planning is really important.

I just finished my ACCA mock exam for P6 Advanced Taxation and hope that I could pass at least. My revision classes will be next two weeks as my normal classes have officially ended last Saturday. Since it is my last paper, I really hope that I could pass successfully. After I passed my ACCA exam, I would go to do eye laser, if possible. Good luck to myself!!!

But for now, I would like to concentrate on my work and hope can finish up and clear off all works before my study leave which will begin from 21 May (Friday). I would be back to visit my family at Brunei on 23 May for a week and also take the opportunity to a short vacation at Kuching for 3 days 2 night before flying back KL on 31 May. My exam will be on 7 June. Furthermore, I would go to Mayday concert at Bukit Jalil Stadium with my colleagues on 5 June. This will be my first time watching such a big scale concert and with so many friends. Let's rock the party while concentrate on my P6 revision.

It has been quite sometimes that I did not upload my blog. Some of my friends have already asked me about this. Am I lazy, too busy with work or jus don't want to update? My last post was just before Chinese New Year 2010.

Anyway, I would not stop writing this blog which has been quite a nice place for me to share my experience, life and so on to all my friends and anyone else!!!

I am currently auditing a first year client which involved in maintaining the radar system which transmit info that would be useful for controlling the air traffic system in the whole Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak. I have visited the controlling tower at Subang and it is quite a good experience and see how they contacted the pilot and so on!!! It is also my first to audit a new client.

Tomorrow is the ACCA progress test tomorrow morning for Advanced Taxation at Sunway College. I have just revised less than 20% of the syllabus due to lack of time because of work!!! Anyway, I have to continue my revision and just try my best! It is my last paper as I have just passed Advanced Audit (P7) at 50 marks. It was just so lucky and very shocked when viewing my results which was released last month.

Chinese New Year 2010

Chinese New Year (Tiger) is coming soon. It is just few more weeks to go. However, this year will be the first year in my life that I did not celebrate with my whole family. I will back Langkap to celebrate with my brother, who is currently taking foundation studies in UTAR, Kampar. This is because my brother just came here last few weeks and hence, we decided not to back Brunei this time. Nevertheless, my mom will come to visit us from 15th Feb (Monday) to 20th Feb (Saturday).

I only took additional one day leave like last year due to audit deadline. In other words, I will resume work on 18th Feb (Thursday). Now is really a very peak period for us and tomorrow I also have to back office to rush for work. In addition, ACCA results would be officially released on 22 Feb, which is one month to go. I really hope it would be a positive results!!!

I really wish this year will be a better year. One major disaster had already occurred. Earthquake has caused death of thousands of people in Haiti. My condolences to the Haitians and really hope that all this could end fast and no more aftershocks that might affect the rebuilding efforts in Haiti!!!

BDO Annual Dinner 2009/2010

Last Friday, I attended my 2nd BDO annual dinner at Sheraton Imperial Hotel, the same venue for 2008 BDO annual dinner as well. This also means that I almost worked in BDO for 2 years and I have just promoted to Senior Associate 2. I joined the firm on 18 February 2008 after Chinese New Year. I have learned alot so far and there is no regret for choosing BDO, instead of Big 4 accounting firms, which are more reputable. BDO has a very steep learning curve and I have grew from it.

Back to Annual dinner. The 2009 Annual Dinner has been delayed and held in early 2010
instead of 2009. This year theme was "Kaleidoscope of Colours" and also marked the change of BDO Binder to jus "BDO" effective 1 January 2010. All of its member firms in 115 countries world wide are adopting the single global trading name of ‘BDO’.

This year annual dinner was more entertaining and we had more fun with some gameshow and nice host as compared to previous annual dinner. Here are some photos taken:

My last day of 2009 and first day of 2010 were spent on doing stocktake in one mill and 4 estates!!! Luckily, I was able to countdown for 2010 at JB with my colleague and other good uni friends.

This year will be another busy year, studying and working for the 1st half of the year as I still left with one more ACCA paper (P6 Advanced Taxation) provided I passed my P7 succesfully when results released on 22 February after CNY.

Look forward for the better year in 2010 and all resolutions would be achieved succesfully!!! I always believe tomorrow will be a better day...Cheers!!!

2009 is going to end really soon, less than two weeks. Today is also the Winter Solstice and hope you all have eaten the "Tang Yuan" either with your friends or family. This was already my fifth years that I did not back Brunei to gather with my family during "冬至"!!!Just now, I went to farewell with other colleagues for our audit senior at Pappa Rich, Bandar Sri Pemaisuri cum celebrating this festive season and eating "Tang Yuan" together.

Also want to wish all my family, friends and relatives....Happy New Year 2010 and Merry Christmas. Hope you all will enjoy the festive seasons with your loved ones or family or friends!!! I will be going for stocktake at Johor from 30th Dec to 1 Jan with another colleague, hence will also countdown at Johor for the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010!!!

It was quite some time that I did not blog. 2009 is going to come to an end soon. Time just passed very fast. What have I achieved and what has happened during the year?

I have gained another year of audit experience, I required another 1 and half year experience to be MIA member as well as ACCA member provided I passed my last 2 papers (P6 and P7). I have finished P7 exam last week and exam results will be released in February next year. I really hope that I could pass successfully so that I could fully concentrate on P6 Advanced Taxation. I am not strong in this subject.

Next, my grandmother (Mom's mother) has passed away during the year. It was a really sad and shock news for me and my family. Both of my grandpa passed away before I born and my another grandmother (Father's mother) passed away when I was in primary school. Life goes on....

Of course, I also travelled to few nice places such as Pulau Redang; Rainbow Waterfall at Lembing, Pahang; Kukup, Johor; Tanjong Sepat; Sepang; Taiping and so on. All these were my first visit. Besides, I also went to visit Penang, Melaka as well as Johor Bahru with my friends.

This month will be a super peak period for me in audit life. I will start to audit another plantation listed company tomorrow. As usual, I will be doing stocktake at the last day of 2009 as well as first day of 2010. I just hope that I would be able to countdown with my friends.

Sungai Lembing Trip (2nd day)

For the second day, it was the highlight of our trip: "Rainbow Waterfall". We woke up around 5am. After having our breaksfast, we took one hour rough ride in a lorry and zip (Ford 4WD) to the starting point of the waterfall. Due to heavy rains in last few days, the road was a bit muddy resulting to the lorry unable to continue the journey after effort to pull the lorry up by the 4WD. We have no choice but clamp on the 4WD. We were lucky to meet another team of people and some of us followed their 4WD. After reaching there, we needed to cross a river and some jungle trekking for around 1 hour before reaching the nice waterfall!!!

It was the nicest waterfall I have ever seen and I recommended you all for a visit. However, 2 conditions required to see the rainbow waterfall which the weather must be good and no rain!!! It is really worth a second visit and I am looking forward to bring my other friends to go, if got chance!!!

Sungai Lembing Trip (1st day)

Before departed to Sungai Lembing, Pahang last two weekends, we gathered at Sungai Long and they celebrated my, Wen Zhi, Vui Vui and Xiao Qi's birthday at Azmi mamak.

2 cars with 10 person departed from Sungai Long around 1.30am and reached there around 4.30am. After meeting with another 5 friends from JB, we had a quick breaksfast and started our journey which took around 45 minutes to climb Lembing mountain ("林明山") to see nice sunrise!!! After the climb, we went to have eat some nice food at nearby "Tai Pai Dong". We then went to check in to our resort (Lembing Court Resort) and had a short rest. The tourist guide, who is the assistant manager of the resort brought us to visit old tin mine site, museum as well as a temple in a cave(On the way to Kuantan road from Lembing).

We decided to go Teluk Cempedak Beach at Kuantan and we reached there around 5pm. Some of us played kite whereas we guis of course did not miss the opportunity to swim and shout our our stress!!!

At night, we had a nice dinner at the restaurant eating some nice dishes like mango fish, "Siew Yok", etc and we also sang some "K". It was considered farewell trip for Jian Cheng, who will go Macau to work for 2 years. So, we watched a video made by Raymond and Zi Jun for our memory!!!

ACCA Exam soon

Another ACCA exam is coming soon. I am taking P7 (Advanced Audit) this semester and the exam will be held on 8th December. I did not really study much this semester other than attending classes and revised for progress tests and mock exam. I have to start revising soon so that I could pass successfully. However, I am rushing for current job assignments these few weeks. Luckily, my study leave will start from 17 November so that I could fully concentrate on my revision for the tough ACCA exam.

I still left with 2 more papers (P7 and P6). I would take P6 (Advanced Tax) next semester and hope to pass all by June 2010!!! ACCA exam results for December 2009 would be announced and released during the Chinese New Year 2010!!! I really hope the results won't spoil my CNY mood. Another way is to check the results after CNY!!!

Last week, I basically only worked for one day, which was on Wednesday. I was on leave on Monday as I wanted to take good rest after Johor trip. I also took the opportunity to jog at nearby park, Tasik Seri Pemaisuri, a really nice place for jogging and relaxing. After jogging, I continued to swim. It made me so refresh and I am determined to do exercise at least once a week for my health!!! We could earn a lot of monet but without good health, you would not be able to enjoy life.

On Tueasday, I was on half day training and so did not go to client place at Rawang. I was also on last minute study leave on Thursday and Friday for ACCA mock exam last Sunday. WHile doing my revision, I also went to shop at Midvalley and gathering with Xiaxiang friends at Sushi King for the RM2 Bonanza. We queue up for around one hour plus and we could only eat there for one hour.

On Friday night, we celebrate belated birthday for Xin Yi at Dae Cheong Ngam at Sri Hartams. It was my first time to officially go Sri Hartamas/Mont Kiara.

It is our tradition to celebrate each other birthday since our uni time (T6 classmates). Too bad that Elvi, Lan Xin, Ying Sing and Sez Chin cannot join us nowadays as all of them are working at Singapore. Our usual gang included Kean Yap, Me, Xin Yi, Sing Mae, Qian Ling, Roland, Kong Soon, Jason...

Kukup is situated south of Pontian a small town at the southwest corner of Johor. It is an interesting fishing village with many residents having their houses built on stilts over the sea. This village is famous for its seafood restaurants, most of which are built on stilts over the sea too.7 cars, 29 people departed to Kukup, a small fishing village around 11am on Saturday. We reached Kukup around 12.30pm and took ferry to our chalet. We met up with Han Yi, another member who came herself from her homtown, Kluang.

At night, we had BBQ dinner, eating nice Taiwan Hotdog, chicken wings, grilled fish and so on. After that, we played some games, drink Black Label (43% alcohol), singing k and dancing...

On Sunday, after having our breaksfast, taking some group photos, dancing our xiaxiang songs, we departed to visit the Mangrove reserve at Kukup.

After that, we went to eat nice seafood at Kukup Town. After some shopping, we departed back to Kuala Lumpur. That's end of this trip and see you all at Perak for the next annual gathering!!!

After fetching Kai Sin, we went to shopping at Jusco Tebrau City which is the second largest Jusco after Bukit Tinggi, Klang. While waiting for JB guy, Kerlson Tian to finish work. We went to have a light dinner at "Sushi King". After that, Kok Soon fetched us to eat at nearby Hawker's Food Stall to eat our dinner together with Peter's sister and niece who are staying at JB.

After having a short dinner, we went to JB custom to fetch Xiao Ting, Xiao Yu and Maggie who are all working at Singapore while meeting up with Raymond, Epin and Jia Soon. We went to eat supper near the "Kuang Rou Secondary School". Here are some nice food:

The night was still young!!! So we decided to go for bowling while waiting for another 2 cars who were departing from KL around 10pm. I followed Raymond car to fetch Pei Fen, another JB girl at Skudai before going to Daiman Bowl.

Last week, I went for 3rd batch xiaxiang annual gathering at Johor. Quite a number of 3rd batch group members are from Johor and/or working in Singapore. 2 cars departed to JB from KL earlier on Friday whereas another 2 cars departed on Friday night and reached JB around 2am.

We went to fetch Xiao Qi at Melaka and met up with Chee May, another member who was unable to join us due to work during weekend. We stayed at Melaka for around 2 hours for eating and walking around, taking some nice photos:

A short break!

Today I am on leave until next Monday to have a short break!!!I just want to take a break and good rest away from busy audit work. I will have an annual gathering tomorrow at Johor with my 3rd batch UTAR xiaxiang friends. 30 of us...hope that it will be a successful and enjoyable gathering...let's enjoy to max!!!

Today is another Chinese Festival: "Mooncake Festival" or "Mid Autumn". I want to wish my family, relatives and all my friends a Happy Mooncake Festival and enjoy your celebrations!!!

This year is my fifth year that I did not celebrate with my family at Brunei. Today, I finished my whole day ACCA class at Sunway around 6.30pm and decided to go to Lowyat with Eddie to shop for new digital camera. After Federal Highway, it started to jam along the road to Bukit Bintang. After passing Sungei Wang, we thought of turning to Pavilion, however the road was closed!!! We have no choice but to turn to the road to Pandan Indah, Cheras areas and ended up at Ampang. We cancelled the shopping at Lowyat and Jalan Ipoh's Dim sum (Plan to go to meet our friends after shopping).

On the way back Cheras, it was jammed and full of cars again. I wonder why there are so many cars at KL at this time. Is it due to mooncake festival and Saturday night? I reached my house around 9pm after having quick dinner with Eddie. 2 and a half hour of jamming and wasting our time and fuel!!! What the....This was how I celebrated this year's mooncake festival.

While celebration, natural disasters have occurred around the world. Earthquake at Sumatra, Typhoon Parma and flood at the Philliphines, Tropical Storm Ketsana at Southeast Asia and so on have caused thousands of death!!! Please do our part to save the world. Natural disasters are made worse and serious by human activities.

Last weekend, I went back Langkap, Perak to visit my foster family and sent them mooncake for the coming mooncake festival early next month. Kean Yap fetched me and his hometown friends on Saturday morning. We supposed to depart from my place around 10am but ended up depart around 12pm something after servicing Kean Yap's car and having our nice dim sum breaksfast at Seri Kembangan. Kean Yap dropped by me at Bidor around 4pm after jamming at the highway from Slim River till Sungkai, as expected. My foster father fetched me at Bidor to Langkap, as usual.

During the 3 days 2 night trip, I just stayed at house, other than meeting up and yumcha with friends there. It is good to escape from the busy life at city (KL). I was very relaxed and enjoyable during the few days trip although I did not go for further trip. Kean Yap, whose hometown is at Malim Nawar, Kampar came to fetch me at Langkap on Monday night to meet up with Yong Joo, Yen Thoong and Choi Ling at Yen Thoong house, Sungai Long. We supposed plan to have steamboat but due to the fact that not many people could make it, this plan was subsequently cancelled. We reached around 11pm and went for a yumcha at Balakong area.

The highlight of this long holiday was trip to Broga Hills on Tuesday mroning. We planned to see the sunrise but due to heavy rains, we delayed until around 10am. We ate a "char siew bau" before going up and it was very bad to do that. We should not eat so heavy breaksfast, especially the time before climbing up the hill. This was a big lesson to learn and reminder not to do it next time!!!!

My stomache was not feeling well and I have no choice but to take rests at few stops. Another reason was that my stamina was not enough. I need to train muself well and exercise. I really hope that one day i would be able to climb to the peak of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia!!!

Anyway, I managed to climb to the 2nd lookout point. Here are some of the nice photos taken:

I would certainly come to climb broga hulls next time. I hope to go until the peak at 4th lookout point!!! I could do it!!!

We climbed down around 12pm and went for the popular "pan mee" at Broga town before going to visit the popular temple nearby. The temple was a place for screen of a Singapore movie called "Lao Si Jiao Lao Da"!!!

Disruption of Star lrt service

This morning, I woke up around 7.30am as usual. Everyday I will take Star LRT to work from my place (Salak Selatan station) to Sultan Ismail station, which will take around 15 minutes.

I was shocked today when I reached the lrt station. It was normal to have a lot of people waiting for the lrt. I met my ex-colleague and told me that there was some disruption at Sultan Ismail lrt and the train would only stop at Bandaraya station, one station before Sultan Ismail lrt. It is walkting distance within both station. After a while, the officer announced that "Kod 7" was activated and all stations would be closed. Then, we were being ushered out of the lrt station and we needed to find alternative public transport to office.

Luckily, I met my other BDO Malay colleagues and we planned to take taxi. However, we waited for a while and no taxi at all. One of my colleagues have car at her house and she proposed to drive us to office. Finally, we reached office around 10am. Really too bad.

I hope that the lrt service would improve. I am really disappointed with the current public transport in Malaysia. Thousands of people are relying on public transport to and back office everyday. Without better and further improvement, Malaysia would not be able to reach the Vision 2020 to a developed nation. It is one of the important criteria also.

Tomorrow I will go for the company trip at Bukit Gambang Resort City at Pahang for 3 days and 2 night. This was the 2nd year to join the company trip. Last year, we went to Port Dickson for a 2 days 1 night trip.

I just want to relax myself with my other colleagues before going for new job at Rawang next week until my study leave for ACCA exam in November. I just finished my current job today. Rawang is quite a distance from KL and travelling is just too tiring despite the fact that I am not the one who is driving. My last job was at Port Klang.

To all my friends, just enjoy yourself during these three days holiday. Of course, I do not forget to wish Malaysia, our beloved country, Happy birthday. Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!

ACCA Results

ACCA results have been officially released on Monday. I have passed my P2 meaning I have passed all the compulsory papers (P1, P2 amd P3). So, I could concentrate on the optional papers as these papers' passing rates were historically low. I am taking P7 currently and would attenpt P6 next semester. I just hope to complete the ACCA as soon as possible so that I could concentrate on my future career path and plan.

Congratualate to all my friends who have passed during last June 2009 exam and for those who unfortunately could not make it, success is just another step closer and all the best in next attempt!!!

Durian

Durian, the "King of Fruit", is my favorite fruit of all. I went for a buffet Durian dinner at SS2 last month and it was my first time to eat this type of buffet. It was very enjoying and would certainly try again next time, but not in this short term. We could not consume too much durians at one time and have bad effect on our health. Do drink some salt water after eating durians.

After taking progress test tomorrow afternoon, I went to sing karaoke at Neway, Leisure Mall with my colleagues for Esther's farewell and her and Lee Fong's birthday celebration. I left earlier to join my xiaxiang friends to yumcha at Murni, SS2. I could not join them to eat Italian food also near Leisure Mall earlier. In addition, I also could not join my UTAR T6 classmates gathering at Midvalley as our good friend, Min Wei has came back from Singapore for holidays. Also, Zhe Quan, one of our "HarkauSiewmai" gang has came back from Singapore but I could not join them for dinner gathering at Sri Petaling also on Saturday night. 4 gatherings at the same time...I really could not join all of them, too bad.

After yumcha at SS2, we decided to go up Genting around 12am. What a crazy idea!!! 3 cars, 11 people just went up to Genting Highlands just for a drink and walk. We reached back KL around 7am. I never went up Genting so late and what an experience!!! We have great funs together!!!

Today I was on leave. I just want to take a break and rest before starting my new job at Port Klang next Monday and after rushing so long Tai Thong Group of Companies. It is time for a short break. I woke up around 9am. I thought to go for a swim but due to time constraints, I decided to swim tommorrow morning since I needed to go for xiaxiang friends' UTAR convo around 11am by public transport.

Congrats to all my friends including Heather, Sue Hui, Lilian, Chui Fang, Jing Ling, Kok Soon, Hooi Sing and Epin who are graduating this round. All the best in your future and work!!!

I have to start for a short revision for tomorrow ACCA progress test. I will go for farewell and birthday celebration with my colleague at Neway, Leisure Mall and join my xiaxiang friends for our KL gathering also around the same areas. I am looking forward to meet you guys.

I have been rushing days and nights for the December year end's accounts for the past two weeks. At last, all have been settled last week and this week, I have to clear up all the files and so on since I will be doing field work in a manufacturing company at Port Klang. I have been staying in office for finalisation work for the past two months.

To relax myself for the weekend, I went for a swim on Saturday morning, watching drama and chatting before joining "HarkauSiewMai" gang for dinner at Jalan Alor. While waiting for Yong Joo (jamming on his way from Subang due to the anti-ISA protest by thousdands of people"), we went to eat the "Gai Xi" shark fin soup and spicy fish ball at ground floor of Lowyat and then went for shopping at Lowyat. After dinner, I and Yong Joo went to SS2 "Gei Dat Sek" for "tong shui" to meet up with Kean Yap.

On Sunday, three of us went for bahkuteh at "Teluk Pulai" branch before going to Midvalley to visit the property fair to survey for property. I plan to buy a property for stay and/or rent to others by sharing with elder brother. Location is the most important factor and I hope to find the best and suitable location.

For another two weeks, the ACCA results for December 08 exam sesssion will be released soon. Everyone is waiting and tension. Now, the only thing we can do is just wait and don't think too much until the results finally released on that day.

On Friday night, I celebrated Jason's birthday with my UTAR classmates at Famous Kitchen at Kepong. In addition, Ying Sing also came back from Singapore with her colleague and she also joined us. It was like 1 year plus that I did not meet her already. It was a simple celebration with him and he himself has requested not to buy birthday cake for him.

As I had class on Saturday at 1pm, I overnight at Kean Yap's place (Damansara) and he fetched me to Sunway College after a Dim Sum breaksfast at Damansara Jaya. Zhe Quan came back again after last two weeks and we decided to meet up at Murni, SS2 around 9pm after my class. We yumcha until 12am and then I went overnight at Yong Joo's place (Klang). Today, our P7 class started from 11.30am until 6.30pm.

Although I have decided to take 2 papers (P6 and P7), but my firm's audit partners have decided that only 1 paper could be attempted for December 2009 sitting. Anyway, I will try to appeal and talk to the management tomorrow. If really can't take 2 papers, I would take P7 only while taking P6 next semester. I just hope that I could finish ACCA soon provided I passed my P2 in August and able to take 2 papers this semester.

Classes start...

Yesterday, I started my ACCA classes at Sunway College taking P6 (every Saturday) and P7 (every Sunday). The results for June 2009 exam will be officially released on 17 August (Monday). I really hope that I can pass it!!!

Before starting classes, I have enjoyed and relaxed myself alot. I went to Cameron Highlands with my UTAR classsmates on 13th and 14th June and went Pulau Redang with my UTAR coursemates from 18th to 20th June.

Last Friday, I went for Buddhist Society Gathering as our senior, Ivy has came to KL for vacation from Kuching. We gathered at "Jin Si Shu Xuan" at Bukit Bintang and then went to eat nice chicken wings at Jalan Alor. On Saturday, I went to gather at Wong Kok, Pavilion with UTAR coursemates as Zhe Quan has came back from Singapore for 2 days 1 night. Then last Sunday, I, Eddie, Chia Ying and Yoke Ling had a late farewell for Sook Kuen, who has resigned from BDO and working in a MNC company. We decided to go for Dim Sum buffet at Marco Polo at Bukit Bintang opposite Wisma Genting. Wow, I was at Bukit Bintang for that 3 consecutive days!!! I could not imagine that.

Again, I have to now fully concentrate on my ACCA studies and hope to complete all my ACCA papers end of this year!!! I am confident and hope that I could successfully achieved it!!!

Redang Trip (Final Day on 20 June 2009)

All of us decided to see the sun rise together and all of us woke up around 6.15am with great hope. However, the sun was block by the heavy and thick cloud and we were unable to witness the sunrise. I and Eddie were both lucky that we did wake up to see the sun rise the day before that day.

With disappointment, we went to have our breaksfast and quickly packed our stuffs so that we could walk around the beach for the final time and took some nice group photos.

We departed back to the jetty at Kuala Terrangannu by the ferry around 9.30am and then took the Resort's bus back to the bus station. We then rest for a while the guest house. Since we still had ample time before our flight at 9.30pm which was delayed for half an hour to 10pm, we went to tour around the town and tasting the nice "Nasi Kukus" and "Nasi Padang". We were unable to try out the popular "Nasi Dagang" since it was only available in the morning and evening and is not nearby. That concluded the 3 days 2 night trip. Overall, I was quite enjoy and relax during the trip and able to snorkel alot and see quite a number of different sea species there. But Eddie, Fook Weng and Yen Thoong who had been to Pulau Tioman has mentioned that Tioman is nicer and more beautiful as compared to Pulau Redang. For me, this was my fires time Pulau Redang and never been to Pulau Tioman. I would definitely go back for second visit. But, before that, I would want to visit other islands including Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Tioman as well as Pulau Sipadan where I have not made a visit yet.

Goodbye to Michael Jackson

Yesterday we just lost a superstar " Michael Jackson". He was 50 and was believed to be suffered from cardiac arrest. At the time of death, he was rehearsing for his coming planned 50 concerts. What a sudden death!!! Anyway, that is life. I just hope he will rest in peace and I will always remember him as the "King of Pop". Miss the nice songs by him, miss his moonwalk...!!!

Redang Trip (2nd Day)

I and Eddie decided to wake up early aounnd 5.30am to witness the sunrise. This was my first time to watch sunrise at beach so I decided not to miss this opportunity. WHen we went out, it was still dark and we still could see bright moon and stars. And at that time, we already knew that we woke up too early. We waited for an hour with quite a number of others and the sun finally rise!!! We were so happy...and of course, we did not forget to snap as much photo as we could. I think Eddie has taken around 80 photos for this sunrise taking from different angles and places.

After that, we straight go for breaksfast before going for another snorkelling session at the marine park. We also rented the underwater camera before snorkelling. Here are some of underwater photos taken:

Redang Trip (1st day)

5 of us (Me, Yong Joo, Fook Weng, Yen Thoong and Choi Ling) gathered at PWTC at 9.30pm on 17 June 2009. We took 10pm bus to Kuala Terrengannu. It was 6 hours plus journey and we reached the bus station around 4.30am. Upon reaching there, we tried to search for food but there was no shops/restaurants around which were all still closed. I think there will only start to open around 8am. Upon waiting for few hours at the bus station and later at the guest house provided by the Pelangi Resort, the place which we were staying for the two nights in Pulau Redang, we then took the resort's bus to the ferry terminal and reached there around 10am.

At the terminal, the Resort's speed boat brought us to Pulau Redang less than an hour which is considered quite fast. After a short briefing, check in to room and took a short rest, we went for the buffet lunch provided by the Resort. The packages included all the meals (lunch, dinner for the 1st day, breaksfast, lunch and dinner for 2nd day and breaksfast for the last day). After lunch, we just went to walk around the beach and sun burn for a short while before snorkelling

At 2.30pm, we went to snorker in the open sea and this was my second time snorkerlling. It was nice to see different kind of fishes and some beautiful corals. We didnt take any photos for the first snorkelling session but we only rented the underwater camera (RM50 per day which could allow us to take more than 160 photos) since there would have two snorkelling session including visit to the marine park during the second day.

After tiring snorkelling, we just walked along the beach to Laguna Resort and to the popular "Mo Mo Cha" to take some photos and played around the beach, posing for nice photos.

Not much night life for us in Redang. After dinner, we just decided to walk along the beach to all different resorts in Redang and grabbed some photos to pass our time but we slept around 10pm as we knew that the second day would be more tiring but enjoying.

Happy Father's Day

Today is the one year once Father's Day!!! I was unable to celebrate with my father as I am staying in KL which is far away from Brunei but I did call back to wish him. However, I always believe everyday will be the mother and father's day as both of them are really important person in our life. Without them, we would not be in this world now.

My father is still working as a lorry driver in Brunei despite reaching the retiree age in order to support my younger brother. I hope that I would be able to start suppoting my brother when he will be going for college or university next year and my father will be able to take a good rest and enjoy the rest of his life. I really hope that I can bring my parents to visit China soon or paying them for travelling around the world.

Coming back

I just came back from a 2 days 1 night trip to Cameron Highlands and Ipoh (a short while) yesterday. I will update more info of the trip with photos and coming trip to Pulau Redang this Thursday soon after I back from Redang. I will depart from bus station (KL) on Wednesday night after work and will fly back from Terengganu on Saturday night. I just hope to relax and stress free during the trip and enjoy as much as I can...And hope that the H1N1 flu outbreak wont affect our trip and the weather will be good for us.

ACCA exam was over for now. P2 was over on Tuesday afternoon. How well or bad I did? I really not so sure. I just have a 50 percent chance of passing and I hope that results released on August would be positive for me. I just don't want to think so much before the results. I will still register to take 2 optional papers (Advanced Audit and Advance Taxation) next semester. My target is to finish all papers by end of the year provided I wouuld pass all these 3 papers!!!

Looking forward...I am going to Pulau Redang next week with Yong Joo, Fook Weng, Yen Thoong and Choi Ling, ex-coursemates of UTAR. I just want to relax first before the classes which will begin early July. I might be going to Cameron Highlands this week with my ex-UTAR classmates for a long time no see gathering. Just enjoy...!!!

3 more days to go for ACCA P2 exam!!! I just came back to KL following my friend's car from Langkap, Perak yesterday night. I stayed for around a week at Langkap for my revision, visit my foster family, relax myself, and also meeting some good friends there. Starting from today will be full intensive revision and would do as much practice as I could.

Other than study, I have also decided to adopt a child through the World Vision Malaysia. My adopted child is from Xing Jiang Hotan, China. He is just a one year male baby. This is good also as I have adopted him from beginning (from baby). This project last for at least 10 to 15 years.

I have to continue my revision now. I will constantly update my blog after exam. Hope to score in order to PASS..

Weather is hot and there is no rain for almost a week already!!! Friends, drink more water and take good care of ourselves!!!

Start of study leave

My study leave has started from today until the ACCA Exam (P2) on 9th June 2009 at Sunway college. I will really need to fully focus on intensive revision after busy with my audit works for the past 2 months. Although I did do some revision in the last 2 weeks, I realised that I still have to rely on some last minute study for P2. However, it is not advisable to practice this. Anyway, that is my only way and I really hope that I will be able to succeed at the end.

This Friday, I am going to Langkap, a small town in Perak to visit my foster family for a week and study there just like last semester's study leave.

All my friends...Now is the critical period and it is real time to fully concentrate and do what we can in order to score or pass eventually!!! Let's work hard and study smart together!!! Gambade...

A (H1N1) Flu

Malaysia has confirmed its first case of the A(H1N1) Flu in a student who returned back from U.S today. So, everyone do take extra precautions and take care of yourself. I really hope that this flu would be stop spreading as soon as possible. It has only affected a number of countires and has even caused death in Mexico and U.S.

I have found some info about this new virus and hence want to share with you all in my blog.

"H1N1 (referred to as “swine flu” previously) is a new influenza virus causing illness in people. This new virus was first detected in people in the United States in April 2009. Other countries, including Mexico and Canada, have reported people sick with this new virus. This virus is spreading from person-to-person, probably in much the same way that regular seasonal influenza viruses spread."

"The symptoms of this new H1N1 flu virus in people are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with this virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting. Also, like seasonal flu, severe illnesses and death has occurred as a result of illness associated with this virus. "

"There is no vaccine available right now to protect against this new H1N1 virus. There are everyday actions that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza."

Some of the actions/precautions that can and should be taken including:

1. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.

2. Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.

3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.

4. Try to avoid close contact with sick people.

5. Stay home if you are sick for 7 days after your symptoms begin or until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours, whichever is longer. This is to keep from infecting others and spreading the virus further.

That are just some suggestions. Anyway, I am going to concentrate on my preparation for ACCA, Everyone, please take care!!!

Zoo negara

I never been to Zoo Negara before 22nd of March. It was a very late post though. I with Yong joo, Jia Ying and Yoke Ling, ex-BDO colleagues decided to go to Zoo Negara situated at Setapak for a visit. Anyway, I was really disappointed with this visit as this zoo is really poorly maintained and not all animals are available although I did see animals that I never seen before such as zebra, giraffe, etc. With the massive space and infrastrucutre, I just hope that some action can be taken to better maintain and preserve this zoo as it is a tourist attraction as I still saw quite a number of foreign tourists visiting there.

Happy Mother Day

I dedicated the 100th post in my blog to the mother's day post!!!

Today is another important day which is Mother's Day which will be celebrated on 2nd week (Sunday) of May yearly. For me, every day should be mother day...!!!

Anyway, if you are unable to celebrate this day with ur parents due to outstation work and so on, at least give a call to her!!! She would be happy enough to hear your voice, your updates frequently. If you are able to celebrate with your mom, maybe can bring her out for a nice dinner, or cook yourself for your mom as she always cook for you daily. And, maybe can send her some presents that she like and love.

For me, my family all are currently staying in Brunei, so far away from KL although it took 2 hours and 45 minutes flight to reach Brunei. My mom is currently in Kuching for a visit. I wanna wish her a happy mother day. Thank you so much for your hardwork in bringing me up until who am I today!!! I love you so much, so hope that you will take care of your health too.

I knew that my mom would not read my blog so I will give her a call later to wish her!!!

Wesak Day

Today is Wesak day which is also public holiday. It mekes no difference for us since it falls on Saturday and moreover, I am having 4 days ACCA P2 revision classes at Sunway from Thursday till this Sunday. Tired...but life goes on...

I did not go to any temple this usual for wesak day's celebration. Too bad. If you all don't know, I am a buddhist and believe in teachings of Buddha. And, I also respect other religions such as Islam, Christian, Hinduism and so on. Everyone has the freedom to choose the religion that he or she believes and would like to follow and there are also people who are free thinker!!!

I started to learn about teachings of buddhism during I was in secondary school in Brunei. I would follow my father to temple every week for praying and some buddhist activities. I continued to be involving in buddhist activities when I came to study in UTAR in kl for my degree programme. I was active in Buddhist society and was one of the committee members too. During the 3 years in UTAR, I attended alot of Dharma talks, organized a number of buddhist activities and so on.

However, after entered to the working world as an auditor upon graduation, I rarely joined buddhist activities and I would give reason like I am busy with work and also ACCA study and so on. I really would like to find some time to involve in these activities and other related social activiitws, Anyway, I do apply the buddha's teaching, doing what is right and avoid what is wrong and I applied it to my work and life as well, to be ethical and so on. Another way for continuing learning is to read more magazine of buddhist organizations, dharma books and so on.

Come to the topic (Wesak day), Wesak day is an annual holiday in many Asian countries including Malaysia. It is celebrated by Buddhists around May (15th of April, Chinese Lunar Calender). It marks three momentous events in Buddha's life which included his birthday, enlightenment and achievement of Nirvana.

Happy Wesak Day to all buddhists in Malaysia and all around the world!!!

Happy labour day

Today is the labour day which is also a public holiday. Labour Day is an annual holiday celebrated all over the world that resulted from the labour union movement, to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers. The majority of countries celebrate Labour Day on May 1, and it is popularly known as May Day and International Workers' Day. The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the Eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.

Happy labour day to all!!! What you all will do during labour day? Go foe ahopping, watch movie, stay at home have a good rest after working so hard, do some sports??? For me, I would stay at home have a good rest and I have to study for my ACCA exam.

Unlucky...

I faced so many unlucky things happened to me recently. First, I did not realise that I lost my camera in my room and only knew it when I wanted to use it. The most weird thing is that I did not know the reason and why my camera lost. Haiz. I have search around my room and still unable to find it. Hope that it is still in my room. I just bought this camera less than 6 months ago.

Another unlucky thing is that my friend car's front window was broken when parked outside my condo and ended up nothing in the car was lost.

Beside, I just lost my atm card last week and luckily I realised it earlier and cancelled and replaced another card.

I just hope all those unlucky things would go away from me...Pray hard...

Busy life..

Recently, I was very busy, working till late every night. I really felt very tired as I still have to study for my ACCA exam. There is a mock exam this Saturday and I am really not prepared for it. The real exam (P2) will be held on 9th June which is about one month later.

I really need to concentrate on my preparation and revision for the exam. I really hope that I can pass once and continue taking P6 and P7 next semester. But, I need to work hard and study smart from now on in order to achieve my goals and aims!!! Good luck to me, will strive my best!!!

Goodbye, Grandma!!!

My grandma (My mom's mother) has just passed away on 25th Martch 2008 in the morning in Kuching at the age of 87 years old, leaving behind 2 sons and 6 daughters and their respective family members. One of the coincidence was that my grandma passed away at the same month, day and almost the same time with the date my grandpa passed away 23 years old ago. At that time, I was just few months old.

I hope that she would rest in peace and be happy in another world. I am going to Kuching on Thursday morning to attend my grandmom' funeral on Friday. I will be back on Saturday night as I have a full day P2 ACCA class on Sunday. My family would be back on Thursday also. Miss my parents too!!!

Life is like that. We just cannot escape from deaath one day later. So, we must appreciate all the people around us - relatives, family and friends!!! We should live happily, enjoy the rest of our life.

Management of time

Recently, I was really busy working till late night everyday. The workloads are very heavy. I don't have the time to study the progress test of P2 this Sunday. I have to off tomorrow to concentrate on my revision!!! Management of time is really important and I find it quite difficult for me at this moment But, it is my choice of taking P2this semester, so I just have to face the reality and strive my best!!! Gambade to all.

I was having lunch with Ms Tian, UTAR DSA head and Ms Sussanna, previous DSA manager who is now working for the Star Education Fund as I was auditing at PJ today. I knew them when I got the Star Scholarship and they fetehd me to attend the award. We were like old friends talking about our working life, etc.

Slumdog Millionaire

I never wrote any comments of movies in my blog and now I am going to do it for a Hindi Movie produced by Hollywood people..."Slumdog Millionaire".

As usual, I went to Midvalley for dinner and movie with my good friends including Yong Joo and Kean Yap. After having dinner at a Japanese restaurant called "Pasta Zanmai" and a short shopping, then went to watch this movie.

Before that, Kean Yap mentioned that he already expected that movie to be boring and not nice. Warching the smoothness of the movie, the romance of the main actor and acrtress...proved him to be wrong.

I myself like the storyline, telling us three different stories in one movie...first is the childhood of "Jamal", the gameshow for the "Who want to be millionaire" as well as the moment when he was caught for being cheating and being questioned!!!

No wonder this movie has won so many awards at the recently announced Oscar Award. I strongly recommended you all to watch this movie. It's really worth it.

Ears

My ears are stuck for more than a week already. In other words, I only have 50% listen power last whole week. Terrible!!! I was like deaf people, have to stand closer in order to talk to my collegaues and friends.

Hopefully, everything is going to end tomorrow as I have made an appointment with the doctor specialising in treatment of ears at the clinic near my condo. We really have to takw of ourselves with proper care including ears, eyes, etc...

I plan to do laser for my eyes at the end of the year upon completion of my acca exam. I also have to start to save enough money as it is not so cheap for doing laser. It costs around RM5,000 plus for two eyes. And it does not guarantee that eyes would be well after first treatment. Moreover, a test on whether our eyes are suitable for laser is required to be taken!!!

Success or Failure

ACCA results have just been fully released on Monday (16th February). Some will be happy for those who passed whereas some might be very disappointed with their results. Life goes on for those who fail, please don’t give up and there is always another chance. Success is just waiting for you all. For those who passed successfully and still have few more papers to go, please continue to work hard and study smart for the remaining papers; Let’s strive our best for the ACCA studies. With ACCA professional qualification: Better job, better pay, and better future prospect waiting for you all…!!!

I myself have successfully passed both P1 and P3. Now, I will be fully concentrated on my P2 studies. P2 is quite a tough theory subject with some calculations. We need to know a number of standards, etc. I need to manage my time well apart from my busy working life and other leisure time. My aim is to complete the ACCA by end of this year. Hence, I am planning to take P6 and P7 next semester.

ACCA results coming out soon...

ACCA result is coming out soon. It will be officially released on 16 February. However, we can opt to receive email for exam result which would be sent by batch from ACCA starting on 14 February.

I took P1 and P3 last semester. This semester, I am taking P2 and it was a late decision made by me. I missed on week class as I was doing estate visit (Audit) for that whole week at Mukah, a small town in Sarawak. I didn't want to waste my time for this semester although I would be very busy as it is a peak season for audit.

However, I am not optimistic with my result for P3. But, who know what will happen at the end when we received the results. Anything can happen, why worry now!!! So, just enjoy while waiting for the results to be released soon!!!

Busy, busy, busy

It was about a month that I didnt update my blog. It was a busy working month and I will continue to be busy till March, i think.

Another reason for not updating my blog frequently is that I have yet to internet connection at my home. The application for the streamyx is still pending. Hopefully, I will be able to online at home soon.

I only took one day leave for this CNY which means that I back from Brunei to KL on Wednesday. The reason again is WORK!!! I have to change my ticket from 31 Jan to 28 Jan. Too bad but no choice. But, at least I was able to reunion with my family during CNY. However, due to tight schedule, I was unable to gather with my old school friends.

Today is still CNY. So, wish u all have a nice CNY and enjoy celebration with family and friends. For those who are already married, enjoy giving ang pow. For those not yet, just continue to receive ang pow!!!

Happy New Year 2009

Today is the beginning of the new year 2009. I am now having my holiday in Brunei until Sunday before going back to Mukah, a small town in Sarawak to continue estate visit and audit. I just reached Brunei this afternoon.

I started stocktake the fertilizers at the estates and CPO and PK of the mill at Mukah yesterday. This morning, I went to stocktake the CPO and PK of the mill for the second time since today is the real cut off date before my flight to Miri from Mukah at noon.

Yesterday night, I countdown alone at the hotel, watching tv live shows of countdown for the new year at Taiwan and Malaysia. The fireworks were very bice although I could not witness at the place. I planned the join the disco party at the hotel lobby but I was late and the door was closed. Too bad!!! Anyway, at least I am able to take this opportunity to come back Brunei for few days to visit my family and relax and meet some old friends here.

During December 2008 and January 2009, I have been and will be flying alot. Last month, I just took flight to Johor for estate visit. On 30 December, I flew from KL to Miri then took another flight from Miri to Mukah. Then for today, I flew from Mukah to Miri.

After that, I will be flying to Mukah from Miri on 4 Jan, Mukah to Kuching and back to Kuala Lumpur on 11 January. Last but not least, for the Chinese New Year, I will be also flying back directly to Brunei from KL on 24 Jan and back to KL on 28 Jan. Too much flying these two months.

For the new year 2009, I decided not to take ACCA this semester because of busy working schedule. I will take P2 only for the July intake taking December exam. Anyway, hope that this year will be a better year for my career and work. I also hope that everyone will be happy always despite the anticipated problems of economic downturn and political issues around the world.

Cleaning house...moving to a new condo..

These few days, I will be just busy cleaning and clearing the current house at Bayu Tasik 1, Bandar Sri Pemaisuri. I am going to move to a nearby condo called Cengal condo, a nicer condo and environment, also nearer to Salak Selatan LRT.

While cleaning the house with my ex-rommate Eddie Lim, I just realised how many things I have and accumulated since my utar life (3 years) plus one year working life. I have to throw some of the things that I might not use. For my new place, I only can put all my things inside the room, nothing in the living room except shoes I think. So bad...

I need to move in before 30 Dec since I will fly to Sarawak ard 7am early morning. Tomorrow, hopefully my other good friend Kean Yap will help me moving my things to the place since I can only get the key tomorrow noon.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year(2009) to all my friends. Last week, I just went to Kota Tinggi (Johor) for estate visit and audit of a plantation company. It was the second time of estate visit.

I am going to move to a new condo nearer to the salak selatan lrt and a nicer condo. But I will be staying in a middle room. I need to move in before 30 December because I will be going to Mukah, a small town in Sarawak for stocktake adn another estate visit from 30 December until 11 January. I will take this opportunity to back Brunei from 1 January to 4 January to celebrate my father birthday and meet my old friends.

During this chinese new year, I only can take 1 day leave which mean that I have to back from Brunei on 28 January although I already bought the ticket back to Kl on 31 Janaury. Haiz...I have to change the flight...

This is audit life...Busy and tight schedule. It will be very rush work. Moreover, I also decided not to take P2 (ACCA) for next semester. I am going to take this paper after June due to the busy and outstation work and audit.

I joined the BDO annual company trip to Port Dickson from 15 to 16th November although I am in the study leave. I just wanted to take some time for relax and gathered with my fellow colleagues. It was a relax and enjoyable 2 days 1 night trip for me...telematch, drinking, playing cards, bicycling, bbq dinner and so on. The schedule was not very pack as we had more free and easy time to walk around and take some nice photos. It was my 23rd birthday yesterday spending my night at office. Luckily, one of my good friends, Jason came from Sungai Long to find me yumcha for a while. On thursday afternoon, my colleagues including Xiao Pei, Michelle, Pik Fun and Mei Yee treated me at Pizza Hut, Maju Junction. Thanks you all. Also thanks to Christine and Shue ting for you fruits.

At night, I left early from work to give a surprise birthday celebration to Vui Chien, one of my xiaxiang members and good friends. The biggest surprise was that her mother fly from Sabah, her hometown to celebrate with her. So nice. At midnight, my xiaxiang members gave me and kai sin a small birthday celebration at mamak. Thanks u all. Also thanks chui fang and ah hing for fetching me back home. Hope to see you all in future gathering maybe on 30 Novemeber for the waterfall outing at Ulu Langat.

Yesterday lunch time, I ate with my audit team including Kar Yee, Wan Ching, Marcus and Fook weng at Fruity, Maju Junction. Thanks you all for treating me this lunch.

Anyway, yesterday was also my last day before I am on long study leave until 10 December. It's time to really fully concentrate on my preparation and revision for ACCA exam. Despite that, I will also join our free company trip to Port Dickson next weekend to relax myself during this intensive preparation.

Later I will be going with my housemates Bin Lie and Fook Weng to Yu Zu, a nice Japanese restaurant at The Gardens. We will meet my ex-roommate Yong Joo and Kean Yap. I never try the food in this restaurant and I hope that it is as good as what I expected!!!

Day 3 and Last Day of Phuket trip

Day 3:

We started our day 3 by joining a half day phuket tour visiting areas including the temple, the cashewnut and jewellery/ruby/pearl factories, nice beaches, etc. We reached back our hotel around 12.30pm. Afrer have a short rest, we went to Patong beach to have a swim, to sun burn and relax. At night, we waited for the van to fetch us to Fantasea, one of the highlights of our trip. We went for the RM80 buffet dinner. The food there is quite nice but that too many choices made me cant try every food available. Another important event there is the show but we opted not to see the show but touring around the Fantasea areas to take photos, the small zoo to see the white tigers and so on.

Day 4:

This was the last day of our trip. I woke up earlier to have my last morning walk along the streets and the beach and of course I did took some nice photos. We went for a breaksfast at food court and shopped at the Juncelyon shopping complex. We did facial message which cost around RM59. All my black heads were gone!!! This was the first time I did facial massage. AFter that, we continued to do some shopping before we departed to airport around 7pm. We were informed that our flight was delayed earlier last week to night instead of afternoon.

One of the things i regretted is that I did not take my chance to do thai massage which all my friends said it was nice and relax after that.

Phuket trip Day 2

For the 2nd day, we went to Phi Phi Island by ferry which took us two hours to reach there but passing by nice view of cave and so on. Before we had our lunch buffet at Phi Phi Island hotel, we went for an hour snorkelling. After lunch, we just tour around the island.

We reached our phuket hotel around 5pm and we went to the beach at Patong for a swim. At night, just like previous night, we just went shopping around the Patong streets...

Phuket Trip Day 1 (19 Oct)

I went to Phuket with Yong Joo and Fook Weng last Sunday until Wednesday, a 4 days 3 night trip. It was my first trip to Thailand and overall, it was quite an enjoyable and relax trip after working under stress condition and busy working life.

First day, we took a meter taxi from Phuket Airport to our budget hotel at Bangla Road, Patong and it took around 1 hour which was just like the distance to KLIA. After taking a short rest, we went to have a short walk at Patong Beach. At night, after having dinner at a food court at Juncelyon shopping complex, we went to experience the night life at Patong where there are a number of bars and clubs and a lot of tourists there. That's end my first day at Phuket.

Preparation for ACCA Exam

I just finish the last class for P1 at Sunway yesterday. Today is Deepavali as well as public holiday. I want to take this opportunty to wish all our Indian friends a Happy Deepavali. I still hope that all races in Malaysia can live peacefully in this lovely country, Malaysia!!!

Although today is a public holiday, but I just have to stay at home to study and revise for the P1 mock exam this thursday night. In addition, I was not able to join one of the three trips available this weekend. One is Kuantan trip with my BDO colleagues, another one is Genting trip with my ex-UTAR classmates who came back from Singapore for holiday, and Melaka trip with my some of xiaxiang friends. Anyway, for now I have to concentrate fully in the preparation for the coming ACCA exam which will be held on 8 December for P1 and 10 December for P3.

My study leave will only start from 8 November. Before that, I have to fully utilized my night time after work to revise for the study. I really hope that I will be able to pass both papers in first attempt.

For ACCA exam, I think that we should practice a lot of questions and know what the questions are actually asking. Command of English is also essential to pass the paper. Write the necessary and relevant points and manage the time properly (1.8 minute per mark).

For all my friends who are taking exam this December, all the best in the preparation for ACCA exam. The future career is on our hand with the benefits of completing ACCA exam.

Busy next week...

As the dateline is approaching, I have been busy this week and I am going to be superbly busy next week before I go to Phuket for vacation end of next weeks with my friends. (Hope Thailand situation is improving and better now so I will be able to enjoy my holiday there!!!)

Hence, I will need to complete my work by next week. I also need to start to prepare for my ACCA exam which will be held end of this month. Anyway, I have to try to manage my time well and effetively for both work and study!!!

My roommate, Eddie has resigned and today was his last day in BDO and he will also move back to Klang. Anywa, I just want to wish him best of luck and all the best in your new career, Hope you will enjoy ur next job ya. Take care, my best friend!!! Must come back often to find us yumcha...

A short break..

It is time to take a short break during this raya holiday, I took leave this Friday to back Langkap, Perak to visit my foster family and it is also xiaxiang 2nd anniversary and gathering at Langkap. Although the number of members who will back is just half of our total members, I am happy and glad for those who take their effort and time to attend our gathering. See you guys soon this Friday.

Yesterday night, I went to friend house for bbq with my colleagues until midnight. Today, I slept alot other than watching drama and did some of my unfinished works. Tomorrow, I plan to meet my utar friends and went for some shopping before gathering with my other xiaxiang friends at Sungai Long.

ACCA exam is coming near, around two months later. It is time to concentrate fully on my study other than my work. My study leave will start early November for my preparation. I just hope that I will be able to pass successfully. All the best to all my friends for your exam preparation. You all can do it.

Anyway, selamat hari raya to all Malays in Malaysia and Brunei. Brunei will be celebrating hari raya today instead of yesterday when Malaysia was already celebrating this festival.

Changing job?

Recently, I read an article from a finance magazine. I think it is quite meaningful and useful for us especially those who just started their career after graduated from college/university or with professional qualification. Hence, I would like to take this opportunity to share with all my friends and readers.

We spent quite a large portion of our time in our work and hence it is important to ask yourself whether you are satisfied with your current job or other job. In order to achieve your dream or goal, you might take risk to change your current job by accepting a drop in salary and a change in working environment. Moreover, the economic conditions of our country and the world are not so good may be a reason for keeping you in your current job.

Nevertheless, the unemployment rate in Malaysia is quite low and hence it is not so difficult for you to change job provided you position yourself to be the best to compete with others in the globalized world. In addition, Malaysia has lost alot of good talents who choose to go to other countries like Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

Before changing job, we must think carefully and understand your reasons for wanting this change. If we are just running away from the job, it is likely that the same problems will be faced again in the new job. Some people quit their job due to insecurities, fear of doing something new, stress, difficult bosses, etc.

Before deciding to leave the company, we can take a short break to rethink of our future. In addition, we also can request to transfer to another department within the same company and so on.

In my opinion, I totally agreed with what the articles mentioned. In addition, we should think very careful before deciding of quitting your job. It might not be your dream job or the work you are interested in, if you are happy with the job why not stay in the company for a period of time. It is always not encouragable for employees to quit their job within a short period of time as it would not be good for your resume.

Moreover, the current problems faced in the company could be overcome or solved. For example, you may have a difficult boss/superior to deal with. Some ways we could solve the problem include performing better in your job to get the attention and trust of your boss, to communicate with him/her if possible of the problem and so on. It will be not easy as good interpersonal and communication skills are required. In addition, we should try to think of the good things and aspects of your boss/superior. If you always have a negative view of the boss, you will never be able to have a good relationship with him/her.

Fresh start after short break...

Today is another working day after a short 3 days break from busy audit life. I just came back from ACCA extra class. Just feel like want to blog what I have done during the short break.

As mentioned in my previous post, I went to attend my friends' convo before celebrating birthday of my classmate last Saturday. We ended up clubbing at Bar Celona. On Sunday, I woke up quite late at around 12pm. After had my breaksfast, I received a sms from my roommate that asked me to go Genting Highlands the next day. However, when he reached home around 2pm with our 2 colleagues, Jia ying and Mei Poh, he told me that we are going to Genting straight away on that day. What a fast decision. We stayed overnight there. During the trip, we went to shopping at the Paviilion, First World Plaza and we also ended up at casino. Here are some of the photos we took there...

After coming back from Genting, I and Eddie helped our good friend to move things to his new house at Damansara on that night. It's time to start my audit work again now. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day.

Happy 51st National Day to my country, Malaysia!!!Merdeka, merdeka, merdeka!!!

Today, I just want to post this message in my blog to wish happy birthday to the country I live. Although I grew up in Brunei instead of Malaysia, bur I am still a Malaysian citizen. That is why I decided to come to KL to take my degree after my form 6 study in Brunei. I have stayed in KL for more than 3 years and I am quite used to the life here.

I hope that all the citizens from the 3 main races (chinese, malay and indian) and other ethnic groups could live in harmony and respect each other in this country. I also hope that the government could be more effective in implementing their policies in the benefits of the citizens. In addition, I hope that the policitcal situations will be better soon and be stable in order attract more investments from foreign countries.

Yesterday, I went to attend UTAR convocation to meet with my good friends at Wisma MCA without forgeting to take alot of photos with my friends. Then, I went to meet my university's classmates to celebrate Kong Soon's birthday at Yuen Steamboat restaurant at Sunway. some of my classmates came to visit us from Singapore. Hence, it was like a class gathering for us. At the end, we ended up to have a drink at Sunway's club.

The end of Beijing Olympic...

Yesterday closing ceromony marked the end of the 16 days Beijing Olympic 2008 which was organized successfully. It is considered to be the best Olympic game so far. I would like to congratualate the organizers for their hard work and efforts. Of course, wont forget the volunteers, athletes, audience and chinese population for their support. Without them, I don't think this game could be well organized.

I also would like to congratualate those athletes who won medals during this Olympic game. I know that you all have trained and prepared very hard before the game. Anyway, for those who failed to win, don't give up and try again 4 years later in London!!!

Win vs lose, Pass vs fail...

Yesterday, Lee Chong Wei was beaten easily by Lin Dan. It was one of the worst final matches I ever watched in important games including the Olympic. Of course, I was a bit disappointed as he just miss a golden opportunity to win the first gold medal for Malaysia. But, every game will inevitably have a winner and loser. Loser doesnt mean you will always be loser. Losing an important game could be helpful and meaningful for a player to work harder in the future. We should also admit that Lin Dan was so powerful and fast yesterday, leaving no chance for Chong Wei amid the support by thousand of chinese fans.

There are rumours saying that badminton game might be cancelled in the next Olympic Games in London. The reason given is that the game is always dominated by Asian players. That is just so unfair if that is the reason for cancelling the game. What about other games such as tennis which is always dominated by western players? I just hope that badminton will remain as one of the 28 sport events in the Olympic Game. I always like to watch badinton match.

Today also marked another important day for some as ACCA results was announced worldwide. For all my friends who pass, congrats and continue your hard and smart work for other papers. For those who unfortunately failed the paper/s, don't give, there will be always another chance to try again. For ACCA papers, I think we need to be master in application rather than just memorising. Practice makes perfect as well. That's just my opinion although I havent encountered ACCA exam before (Going to take soon in December). Good luck and all the best.

Lee Chong Wei...Malaysia's last hope...

Just now, Lee Chong Wei had beaten Lee Hyun Ill, a Korean player in the semi final clash of the men single. This means that Malaysia has secured at least a silver medal. One more step for the Malaysia's first ever Olympic gold medal. The final will be a great match between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei in the evening of this Sunday.

I could not watch the semi final clash as we were celebrating Marcus and Justine birthday with my audit team members at "Hakka Cun" located at Seri Kembangan. I hope that I will be able to watch at least the final match after my part time acca class.

Chong Wei, I believe you can do it. Prove to us your best and ability to win the gold medal!!! Good luck...

Grand opening ceromony for Beijing Olympic 2008

Yesterday marked a historic moment for China as the Beijing Olympic 2008 has been officially opened. After 7 years of preparation, at last the game started yesterday until 24 August 2008. 91,000 spectators witnessed the opening ceromony in the Bird's nest Stadium whereas more than 4 billion people around the world watched this spectacular ceromony through tv. We chinese should also be proud of this moment. It was also the costliest in the history of Olympic, with 30,000 fireworks during a performance.

The most important part of the opening ceromony was the lighting of Olympic flame at the Cauldron. Li Ning, a former gymnastics star lift the Olympic flame to the air and "running" one round of the stadium passing the whole world.

"One World One Dream"...Good luck. To all the sportsmen/women, try your very best to achieve your goal. Please be a fair player as well. Hope that this event will be held peacefully. I also wish that Malaysia will be able to win the long awaited first gold medal in the Olympic game.

I have been very very busy recently, working Monday till Saturday while attebdubg part time acca classes on Sunday. Apart from working, I managed to meet with my old friends during the night time/

My cousin from Kuching, who was my housemate in my 1st year of my university life called me early morning that he has arrived kl with Chiew Teck, another housemate and good friend of mine. It was a great surprise for me as they didnt inform me in advance. So, we decided to meet yesterday for a dinner after my audit at Putrajaya. After having a short dinner at Sungei Wang, I decided not to back home that night and we sang k until 2am before went back to Hilton, PJ.

For today, I just came back from extra class from 6.30pm till 9.30pm at Sunway college. After the class, Eddie and I went to meet our utar friends for chit chatting.

Beside, Beijing Olympic 2008 is approaching and left 2 more days. Good luck and all the best in the organizing of this Olympic in the midst of security problem and terror threats.

Save the world...

I just thought of writing something that could contribute a bit to the society. Global warming has become a very serious issue and problem discussed nowadays. The ice has started to melt in the Artic region. How can we reduce global warming effect to save the environment? I don't think we can stop this global warming problem completely. What we can do is only to reduce the effect as much as we can, to delay the worst to come.

We, as the citizen and residents of the world, have to start doing something. That will the best and most effective way. Some of the easy ways that we can apply when carrying out our day-to-day activities:

1. Bring a cloth bag for shopping trips. Of course, this can help reduce the use of plastic bags. And say no to plastic bags when you only purchase one or few items.

2. Recycle your newspaper, magazines, glass, tin as well as recycle plastics.

3. Try to take public transport if possible. If not, then try to car pool with friends. This can help a bit to reduce air pollution.

There are a lot of other ways that we can do our part in contributing to save the environment from being damaged by human activities. Try to influence and encourage close friends and family members to do the same with you. We don't want to live in a world which is badly polluted and become hotter due to global warming...

Beside, organizations nowadays have started to engaged in their business activities socially and ethically. Moreover, research has shown that reputation of the firms is one of the factors that can directly link to the success of the firms.

Another important party that can do something is the Government. The Government can impose some policies and rules to encourage and govern the people as well as organizations to be socially and ethically responsible for the environment.

My job as an auditor...for how long?

I have started working in BDO, one of big five accounting firms in Malaysia and around the world since 18 February 2008. It has been more than 5 months that I work as an audit associate (so called 'auditor"). This is also my first job after I graduated with an accounting degree from UTAR end of last year. What I have learned and did in the past 5 months? How long would I stay as an auditor? What is my future plan? A lot of questions flow into my mind. Let me try to answer here in my blog.

Of course, I have learned how to audit. I have audited small private companies, newly public listed company as well large public listed company which I have been auditing in the past two months. The industries involved included plantation, shipping, trading as well as property. It is a good experience for me to be involved and understand in different type of industries...I also did stutatory records audits for quite a number of companies. In addition, I also went to Sabah for 2 weeks to visit the plantation estates and mill. During that period, I have done test of control (including walkthrough), PPE signthing, employee sighting and so on. One of the works that I have not really good and try at is stocktake. I really hope that I will have a chance to do it very soon.

I think and expect that I will stay in audit line for at least 3 years to 5 years to learn as much as I can. By the time, I hope that I have passed all my acca papers. Then, I plan to go overseas to work for a period of time, say 1-2 years before coming back to Malaysia. What will happen later, I am not 100% sure. I am planning for it. I will let you guys know soon.

Countdown to Beijing Olympic 2008!!!

Beijing Olympic 2008 will be held very soon...20 more days...8pm, 08.08.2008!!! I just hope the Olympic games will be a success. It is also the first that this world prestige game is going to be held in the mainland China. We chinese should be proud of this historic moment. All the best and good luck the Beijing Olympic organizing committee.

Of course, I also hope that Malaysia will be able to try their best to win the first gold medal in the Olympic games. The best medal won by Malaysia was a silver through the Badminton double players. MALAYSIA BOLEH...!!!

I always like to watch sport's games such as Olympic, Commenwealth and Asian Games. Recently, I am very busy with my audit of a large PLC, working from Monday to Saturday. In addition, I have ACCA part time classes on Sunday...I hope that I can at least watch the Opening Ceromony of the Beijing Olympic, to witness the historic moment...

I just finished my classes today. Later, I will go to the Taman Tasik Sri Pemaisuri for jogging. It has been quite a long time that I did not do exercise to relax myself. Next week will be another long busy week!!! Gambade to myself and all my audit team members. I know it will be a tight dateline, let's work hard together.

For those who are looking for job, try to find job that you are really interested in. This will make you work happier and you would be able to perform better and more effective.

However, this may not always be the case. If the job that you are currently do is not what you expect and interested in, just try your very best to enjoy your work. This will really make you work happier which is very important.

I am currently working as an auditor in BDO, an accounting firm in Malaysia. As you all know, auditor life is very busy as we need to work for longer hours as compared to other jobs. Accounting is what I am interested in. Hence, so far I still very enjoy my life as an auditor. In addition, I will be able to learn many things, meet different people, go many different places to perform audi, etc...Hence, I will stay in audit line for the next few years before I go overseas to work for few years or change to commercial line.

Next Monday, I will have to decide whether to sign the training contract with my firm. My firm will provide full sponsorship for my ACCA part time study in Sunway College University.

Malaysia...political development

The general election in Malaysia has been over for several months. But, the politcal issues has just begun to arise. Is this what we call democracy? Will Anwar take ove Abdullah as prime minister in coming months? I am not supporting any one side. I just hope that all these could end as soon as possible so that we, the citizens and residents of Malaysia can live in harmony. I just that the Government will do their best for the benefits of citizens in priority. That is why the government would be elected at the first place.

The recent drastic increase of the petrol price to RM2.70 has resulted to great impacts to everyone including me although I didnt drive. Inflation rate would remain as high as 6 percent this year. I am not fully against to the increase of petrol price in line with the significant increase in world oil price as based on the economic point of view, it is important for the long term growth of the country. However, I think that the increase is too large that it affect the people adversely which also resulted to the recent protest in a stadium. That is just my opinion.

Malaysia....the country where I live, where I born, where i studied my degree...I wish my country will be a better place to stay in...Hope that everything will be fine tomorrow.

Start of my study life again!!!

Today, I started my ACCA part time class at Sunway from 8am to 7.30pm. Wow...so long hours of lecture classes as I am taking both P1 and P3 this semester. But, the lecturers are quite good so the classes were quite interesting and not so boring. It has been more than 6 months that I didnt study after graduated from UTAR. This is also means that I will be very busy nowadays as I still have to cope with my busy working schedule. Not much time to enjoy during weekends already.

For those who havent take acca yet, it is advisable to take P1 and P3 together then P2 and P7 together. We have to finish essential module first before we are able to take optional papers. Hence, we have to finish P1 and P3 first then can choose to take P2 and P7 (can also take concurrently) which are quite related especially the recently updated accounting standards.

Genting Trip

Last weekend, I went to Genting Highlands with Yong Joo to meet with our coursemates and some of JY's highschool friends. Around 20 of us stayed overnight in Pangsapuri Ria Apartment!!! At Saturday night, we had steamboat at the apartment. We also invited our old friend, Kevin who work in the Casinos.

The environment there was quite cool with big mist due to raining. I did enjoy during the 2 days one night trip although I lost a bit of money at the Casinos. At least I will be able to relax myself, to stay away from the big audit workload.

This Sunday, I will begin my study life in Sunway for ACCA part time. It has been around half a year that I didnt go to class for lecture or tutorial.

It will be quite difficult to balance both audit as well as study life. But, I will try my best as it is my choice and I will also enjoy them...

Good luck to all my friends who like me just started ACCA part time or full-time. Enjoy the study life. And also those who started last semester, study smarter other than harder.

Nowadays, I am a bit busy with my audit as I also need to come back work the whole Saturday as we are rushing for the interim audit of large public listed company. For final audit which will start on 17 July, I think i will be superbly busy.

Moreover, my part time ACCA class at Sunway college will start on 1st weekend of July. I am going to take 2 papers (P1 and P3) during this semester. Hopefully, I will be able to cope with the study as well as work together. It is going to be a challenge for me and I will take the challenge and try my best.

Taman Tasik Sri Pemaisuri

I went to have a walk with my roommate, Eddie at Taman Tasik Sri Pemaisuri this afternoon after taking a short nap. Taman Tasik Sri Pemaisuri is situated nearby my residential place at Bayu Tasik Condo, Bandar Sri Pemaisuri. It is a nice place for jogging, relax ourselves especially during weekend after busy working schedule during weekdays. It is also very a beautiful place which is why I want to recommend to all of you.

I am back to KL!!!

I reached my KL home yesterday night at around 11pm after 2 weeks of estate visit to Sabah. It was an enjoyable working trip for me. It was a good chance for me to take a good rest and relax, to escape from the busy audit life in office.

I departed to Sandakan on 19th May which was also the Wesak Day. During the two weeks, we went to visit the Estate (Palm Oil Plantation) as well as the Mill other than doing the documents stuffs at the Estate office. We visited a total of 3 estates and 1 mill. Of course, we also went to visit some of the interesting places at Sandakan including the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, Crocodile Farm, Gua Gementong and so on. In addition, we also stayed a night at Kota Kinabalu. We went to the Poring Hotspring. At there, we went for Canopy walk and hiking up to the waterfall. We also visited the Kinabalu Park before we departed to the Kota Kinabalu International Aiport (KKIA).

I just want to say goodbye to my friends because I will be going off for audit work next Monday to Sandakan, Sabah. I will be outstation for at least 2 weeks for estate (palm oil plantation) visit. I really hope I do enjoy this visit and audit.

During this visit, I wont be able to online and I not sure whether I could use my phone or not as I will be in deep areas where there might not be telephone line. I am like uncontactable...hehe...dangerous...

That is just part of the audit life. We will have chances to travel around. This weekend I will be back to Langkap, Perak with my other xiaxiang members to visit my foster family before my flight and trip on Monday.

Happy Mother Day

Today is a special day for mothers all around the world. It is mother day and most of the children will bring their parents for dinner or just easy celebration at home. But, I am now in KL working so I am unable to go back to Brunei to celebrate this special day with my mom. Therefore, I sent a card for my mom with my personal thank you message to her and I also called to wish her happy mother day. That are some of the things that we can do.

Anyway, in my opinion, every day should be the mother day. The mother has did so much for us. We are in her body for 9 months. She took care of us since we are baby until we are able to be independent. Our mother loves us and we should as well love her and appreciate her contributions in bringing us up that we would not be able to repay forever. Please do go back home to meet your parents when free. They are always waiting you to back home.

Once again, I want to wush a very happy mother day to all the mothers. For my mom, I love you so much. I will take care of myself here and I hope you will also take care of your own health. I will be back soon. Wait for me...

Upcoming works and activities...

I am currently auditing a property development company for a week before I start to audit a very big plantation company next week at Putrajaya. This also mean that I will be really getting busy with my work. I have not really work during weekends so far since I start my work. But, I can be certain I will need to come back to work when I start auditing this big company.

In addition, I will also be going for estate visit next month either going around the Peninsular Malaysia or flying to areas like Sabah and Sarawak. I always like to travel and I hope it will be a good experience as it was my first outstation trip to audit.

i will be attending my friend's sister wedding at Triang, Pahang this weekend with my other close classmates. Some of them are driving from Johor Bahru to Pahang in Friday while we will be departing from KL at Saturday afternoon. I never really go to any towns of Pahang except for Cameron and Genting Highlands.

Then, I plan to huixiang (balik kampong) to visit my foster family at Langkap, a nice town or kampong in Perak. I really hope that I would not need to come back to work during that weekend and Wesak Day (Public Holiday) on Monday.

After July, I might not be free during weekend because I will start my acca course and I hope that and I will work hard to make sure that I pass in one sitting. My next trip will be to Phuket with my housemates in mid October and I also hope that I will be able to take few days off for this trip. That will be my first trip to Thailand.

These are some of my upcoming activities and work/study that will make be busy for quite some time. I really hope I do enjoy my life as well other than just study and work.

Beijing Olympic Game is coming very soon. I always enjoy and like to watch sports games such as Olympic, Asian Games, Commonwealth and also SEA Games. The Olympic torch relay has been in Malaysia last week and now it is back to China. There were protests during the torch relay but I really hope that try not to link politics with Sports competition. It is a competition that can unite the sportsmen/women, officials as well as fans from countries around the world. Olympic is being held every four years. The last Olympic game was held at Athens, Greece.

The opening ceromony of this year Olympic game will start at 8pm on 8th August 2008. So many "8s". FAT FAT FAT....hehe...
